I will be participating in the 12th Annual Lacombe Art Exhibit and Sale. The show and sale runs April 15, 16, and 17, 2011 at the Lacombe Memorial Center in Lacombe, Alberta. I am looking forward to meeting new people; this show draws large crowds every year. And it will be fun to re-connect with old friends and see their new work!

In April 2010, the bilton center for contemporary art in Red Deer, Alberta hosted The Group of Four, the work of four Red Deer College visual art students. I was privileged to be one of the four. For all of us, this was our first major gallery show, and we were encouraged to take part in the hanging/staging of the show. The sponsor of the show arranged for a private reception for the artists and the sponsor's invited guests prior to the public opening.
