At the suggestion of a fellow artist, I accepted the challenge to make a piece a day for three months. That meant clearing a path through the studio to my work table! So now I am there everyday, and every day I begin a new piece. I may not finish it that day, but it is started and it will get done. At the end of three months, I will have the equivalent of a sketchbook full of ideas! I'll keep you posted.

In April 2010, the bilton center for contemporary art in Red Deer, Alberta hosted The Group of Four, the work of four Red Deer College visual art students. I was privileged to be one of the four. For all of us, this was our first major gallery show, and we were encouraged to take part in the hanging/staging of the show. The sponsor of the show arranged for a private reception for the artists and the sponsor's invited guests prior to the public opening.
