I work in clay. I am a hand-builder. My pieces are innovative, quirky, unusual, fun, and hopefully, thought-provoking. Hand-building is a seductive, spontaneous, consuming process. Working on a piece or a series of pieces commands all my attention, and removes me from the crush of everyday living. I create because I have to.
